GOOD NEWS. I got hold of all the extra flooring and the skirting boards that I need to finish off the floor HURRAY.
After collecting the bits and pieces last night I got back to the hive to find Queenie baking a cake YUM YUM. Its a lovely sponge cake with lots of buttercream filing and jam, I tried to get her to put in some nice Dairy Milk Chocolate filing but when I went to the cupboard someone had eaten it all. I'm putting the next lot under lock & key. So that was a nice reward for all my hard work.
Have been in our warehouse today looking at all the new and used furniture that we have in stock, I put some of it on eBay so I need to make sure that its all nice and clean for when customers collect it. You know theres some cracking bargins even if I do say so myself. It also gets me out of the way of queenie and the kids for a while, sometimes you just need a bit of piece and quite and believe me with a whole hive full quite is not something that you get a lot of.
We have also booked a holiday, just the two of us, a nice break in the sunshine in september. So Queenie is suddenly on a diet!! something about bikinis?? As long as there is a pool to dip my toes in and a bar to get a few beers then thats fine by me. We might fly with BeeMI or FlyBee its a good few hours flight and I know what the cases will be like :-( so theres NO WAY I'm carrying them all the way there.
Gosh is that the time? I feel a rumble tum coming on, time for a nice slice of cake I think.
