Well you can tell the kids are going back to school soon as the weather has taken a turn for the worse. Us bees really don't like the cold, its a good job me and Queenie are taking a break in the sunshine soon. I'm going to have to put the heating on in the hive soon, nothing worse than cold wings when you try to zip around.
Went to the footie again this weekend, you know its one of the only times I really shout (usually when we score a goal or two), its strange how total strangers hug and try to kiss you when a goal is scored. Good job Queenie doesn't come to the footie, because boy can she shout! I think the supporters at the other end of the stadium would be able to hear her. (with all these kids in the hive she needs a loud voice just to get them to eat their food never mind tidy their room or do their homework). Talking about homework, why not get all your kids school supplies from our web site and have them delivered to you in time for them going back to school?

Ahh lunch time calls and my bellys rumbling, I wonder what yummy goodies I have in my lunch box today?

Long Weekend Yippee
Its been a tiring week so far, beeen buzzy updating a new online site as well as looking after our shop. Thank goodness we have a long weekend, what with Monday being a bank holiday. I'm looking forward to watching the footie again this weekend. My team did well last weekend & I had forgotten what its like to be in a crowded stadium with everyone else. (don't tell queenie but I treated myself to the new home kit - I think it quite suits me).
I don't know if we are going anywhere for the day on monday, I still have to finish off decorating the bedroom so I may end up doing that. It takes so long to do things when you work full time and sometimes when you get home all you want to do is watch the TV.
Queenie took us shopping last saturday for stuff for our holiday, how many dresses & shoes can you fit into a suitcase and still bee able to lift it? I tried on some new trunks (not those skimpy ones!!) even if I do say so myself I thought I looked rather cool in surfer shorts, unfortunately queenie did not agree so I had to have something a little more reserved.
Oh well best get back to work, speak to you soon

Zzzzzzzzzzz
Todays blog will be quite short. Im really tired and need to catch up on some ZZZZZ's. Why are all the good programs on the telly on after 9.00pm? Sat and watched a film last night but it did not finish until after 11.00. I had a bit of a nightmare start to the day as I over slept and have felt like I left my head on the pillow this morning.
Had some new stock come in to the store today so I will get all the new goodies on the website ASAP so you can all take a look, theres stuff for the kids to use when they go back to school and if you are young at heart you can take them into work with you to brighten up your day.
I think I will have an early night tonight, take a nice shower and chill out for a while. A glass of the old amber nectar might not go a miss.
Im off home now, speak soon.

Good News
GOOD NEWS. I got hold of all the extra flooring and the skirting boards that I need to finish off the floor HURRAY.
After collecting the bits and pieces last night I got back to the hive to find Queenie baking a cake YUM YUM. Its a lovely sponge cake with lots of buttercream filing and jam, I tried to get her to put in some nice Dairy Milk Chocolate filing but when I went to the cupboard someone had eaten it all. I'm putting the next lot under lock & key. So that was a nice reward for all my hard work.
Have been in our warehouse today looking at all the new and used furniture that we have in stock, I put some of it on eBay so I need to make sure that its all nice and clean for when customers collect it. You know theres some cracking bargins even if I do say so myself. It also gets me out of the way of queenie and the kids for a while, sometimes you just need a bit of piece and quite and believe me with a whole hive full quite is not something that you get a lot of.
We have also booked a holiday, just the two of us, a nice break in the sunshine in september. So Queenie is suddenly on a diet!! something about bikinis?? As long as there is a pool to dip my toes in and a bar to get a few beers then thats fine by me. We might fly with BeeMI or FlyBee its a good few hours flight and I know what the cases will be like :-( so theres NO WAY I'm carrying them all the way there.
Gosh is that the time? I feel a rumble tum coming on, time for a nice slice of cake I think.

What a weekend
You know what Im absolutely done in!!. There was me thinking I could have a nice weekend at the footie or cricket (well done the lads) but Oh No Queenie has decided to redecorate!! Not only did I have to paint the ceiling (TWICE) then take up the flooring, take off the skirting and the doors I also had to put down some new flooring that was a nightmare to lay as with most hives there are no straight edges. Well I did my best and it took FOREVER then just when you think its all over, I'm short of flooring AHHHHHHHHH. I have to fly off later and get my hands on a few more packs, just hope I can get the rest.
As soon as she asks me to decorate our shop I'm getting the proffesionals in!!!
I caught the cricket highlights, it would have been great to bee there to see the win but hey ho thats life I suppose. Sting in the tail
Its been a bit weird over the past few days. Theres been people running around acting silly followed by people standing up to be counted when it mattered. For those who were beeing silly you will find there is always a sting in the tail and you will be made to pay sooner or later, for those who stood tall you deserve only the best in life.
Well that's my two pence worth.....
On to matters closer to my heart, as you may have gathered by some of my previous bloggs i'm a bit of a sports fan. Well at the moment theres soooo much to choose from, there's the Cricket at Edgbaston, the Footie kicked off around the country over the past few weeks and the Premier League kicks off this weekend. (Im running out of excuses to get away from the office!!) I've spent a few days at the Cricket (not that those dropped catches are anything to do with me :-o) the atmosphere has been great and although we thought we would have rain its been quite warm and I think Cook might take a bit of moving. I might pop down there at lunch to see how things are going if I can sneek away without Queenie finding out.
On to business matters, theres lots of goodies on our site for the kids to use when they go back to school so take a look and see what you think.

Back Again
As you may have noticed I have not posted anything for a few weeks. Well Queenie Bee has not been very well so I've been a dutiful husband and have been looking after her. I dont know how she does it, looking after the whole hive (and theres LOTS of them) as well as sorting out our company, she chooses all the products that we sell. Trying to get food on the table for everyone at the same time is a logistical nightmare, but I got it down to a fine art by the time Queenie came back.
Now thats Queenie is back on control I can concentrate on the important things in life.........
Woo Hoo the Premier League Kicks Off this weekend, I love the buzz of the crowd and the whole atmosphere is great. I try to catch a few games when I can I visit Villa Park, The Hawthornes and Molineux, I go to St Andrews if theres a good fixture on.
